Overview
The SAFIRE World Ruggedized Base System is a powerful, robust unit that provides two PCMCIA slots. Its thin, light and compact format makes it very convenient for any environmental conditions.
The built-in Network Interface Card can be used for Ethernet applications, whilst the PCMCIA slots allow E1/T1/J1 functionality to be added using the SAFIRE World G.703 E1/T1/J1/DS1/Dual PCMCIA interface.
The system has a high performance processor, large memory and storage capacity, as well as a large, high contrast TFT display with brilliant, easy-to-view colors even under bright conditions.
The SAFIRE World Ruggedized Base System is a cost-effective solution providing processing power with flexible interface configurations.

Description
The SAFIRE World Ruggedized Base System is the basis of a powerful protocol analyzer, conformance tester, gateway or traffic generator.
SAFIRE World systems are shipped pre-configured with the required physical interfaces, applications software, protocols, firmware and test suites. Systems can be upgraded later with additional interfaces, application modules and test suites.
