Overview
The SAFIRE World Ethernet 10/100/1000BT Dual PCI is a small format, high performance plug-in card (PCI/PCI-X standard, half-length slot) for Ethernet-based signaling test and protocol analysis requirements.
The physical interface module complies with the most recent PCI standard 2.2 and PCI-X standard 1.0 for PC interface cards.
It supports two physically independent Ethernet interfaces for active signaling tests in monitoring or simulation mode.

Example configuration
Description
The SAFIRE World Ethernet 10/100/1000BT Dual PCI can be combined with other SAFIRE applications to turn a medium specification portable PC into a powerful protocol analyzer, conformance tester, gateway, or traffic generator.
This module supports all standard Ethernet and VoIP, and can be used in many mobile communications infrastructures (3G, UMTS) for the Radio Network (RN).
The software driver is SAFIRE compatible, hooking into the SAFIRE Professional tool chain or SAFIRE based applications, such as SOLINET's signaling applications.
The driver includes a dedicated SAFIRE MIB Editor, which allows the Ethernet interface parameters and filters to be configured from within SAFIRE-based signaling applications.
