Overview
The H.323 Traffic Generator is an automatic call generator for the H.323 signaling specification as defined by the ETSI standards. It is a SAFIRE based network element able to provide millions of calls over weeks of uninterrupted operation in a controlled & deterministic manner.
The SAFIRE graphical UI allows traffic generation control and configuration of messages, parameters and timers, as well as providing a clear overview of call status and statistics. The H.323 traffic generator includes a H.323 protocol analyzer for on-line capture and decode of the signaling in real-time both during tests and as a stand-alone tracer for live systems.
The H.323 Traffic Generator is suitable for long-term conformance tests, functional tests, factory tests & acceptance tests.

Description
The H.323 Traffic Generator was designed to be a complete solution for H.323 traffic generation requirements. It has the key components:

Using the H.323 Traffic Generator, millions of calls can be accurately, reliably and comfortably monitored for compliance with ETSI standards. It is suitable for manufacturers, network operators and service providers to address all stages of the traffic generation cycle including mapping call source and display of activity in the control panel, quick-error diagnosis and problem solving with live decoding in the SAFIRE Tracer.

H.323 Traffic Generator Statistics Sample
The H.323 Traffic Generator allows the generation and reception of up to 30 simultaneous calls. Each call source is mapped to a call sink. The activity of each source and sink is displayed in the Resources section of the TGEN control panel.
The message sequence and all key message parameters are user-configurable. Timers, such as call duration and inter-call interval, can also be configured according to the user’s requirements.
