Hyderabad is the capital city of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh,
located in the southern part of India. Also known as The City of Nizams and The City of Pearls, Hyderabad is today one of the most
developed cities in the country and a modern hub of information technology, ITES, and biotechnology.
The City has evolved into a cosmopolitan society due to the heavy
presence of the Information technology.
Hyderabad is known for its rich history, culture and architecture
representing its unique character as a meeting point for North and
South India, and also its multilingual culture, both geographically

also known as Tollywood which produces approximately 150 movies every year. The first Hyderabad
International Film Festival (HIFF) was organized in 2007 by the
Hyderabad Film Club and Andhra Pradesh Film Directors Association.
